Zachary R. Cowart
Zachary R. Cowart is a founding partner of Cowart and Perry, LLP, which opened in July of 2008. Mr. Cowart is a lifelong Georgian who was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia.
Mr. Cowart received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree (cum laude) in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2000. In 2003 he was awarded his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Georgia and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
Mr. Cowart is an active member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church, is on the Board of Directors for the local chapter of the American Red Cross, and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Currently, Mr. Cowart is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Valdosta Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Valdosta Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, and the United States District Court-Middle District of Georgia.
Mark E. Perry
Mark E. Perry is a founding partner of Cowart and Perry, LLP, which opened in July of 2008. Mr. Perry is a lifelong Georgian who was born in Nashville, Georgia and raised in Valdosta, Georgia.
Mr. Perry received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia in 2001. In 2005 he was awarded his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Georgia State University College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
Mr. Perry is an active member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and is a volunteer in the community.
Currently, Mr. Perry is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the United States District Court- Northern District of Georgia, the United States District Court- Middle District of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Valdosta Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, and the American Bar Association.
